The International Textile Forum – Tajikistan 2026 took place in Dushanbe on 23 September 2026. It was organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the Government, in cooperation with the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) and GIZ.
Its main goal was to strengthen international cooperation and attract investment into Tajikistan’s textile industry, building a full value chain from cotton fibre processing to the production of finished goods.
Ministers, heads of delegations and official representatives of countries and international organisations shared their vision for the textile industry of Central Asia.

14 heads of delegations and official representatives spoke, including Tajikistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the European Union, Bangladesh, the CIS, ECO, ITMF and UNIDO.
