Isfandiyor Abdullo: Investing in Entrepreneurship as a Driver of the Textile Industry
Country Director of Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan, with 9+ years of expertise in enterprise investment, incubation and acceleration program design across Central Asia, and textile sector value chain development.
Isfandiyor Abdullo leads Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan — an initiative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) with a mandate to build sustainable enterprises through accessible financing, technical assistance, and tailored mentorship. Since launching in Tajikistan, the program has invested in more than 290 small and growing businesses and created thousands of jobs, more than half of which were filled by women.
Under Isfandiyor's leadership, the organization provides comprehensive support to startups and existing enterprises across high-potential sectors, with textiles among its core focus areas — offering investment up to strategic mentoring, financial modeling support, and international market linkages. His expertise spans incubation and acceleration program design, donor-funded and private sector project management, startup scaling, and textile value chain development.
At the International Textile Forum - Tajikistan 2026, Isfandiyor Abdullo will present practical tools for supporting entrepreneurs in the textile sector and share his vision for how a strong innovation ecosystem can become the foundation of Tajikistan's sustainable industrial growth.
